On Sunday 7th March 1999 I went to the 4.00pm performance of the SOLID SILVER 60s Show. This show had four big names of the 60s, two names performing in each half. The first act to come on stage was BRIAN POOLE AND ELECTRIX who performed tracks like SILENCE IS GOLDEN, DO YOU LOVE ME, CANDYMAN and TWIST & SHOUT.
The next act to come on stage was FREDDIE & THE DREAMERS who performed the hits like IF YOU GOTTA MAKE A FOOL OF SOMEBODY, YOU WERE MADE FOR ME, I'M TELLING YOU NOW and WINDMILL IN OLD AMSTERDAM, this song was hillarious as Freddie kept on saying 'Where'.
The line-ups for these two bands were:-
